Home School

Lucy was home sick for the third day. She was feeling better so we got some school work in. I am hoping she can return tomorrow. Maggie also stayed home. She has been a little stuffy, but mainly I don't want to take the girls out in the cold.

Maggie was supposed to learn about the letter R this week. We read R books, colored R pages and played with things that begin with R in a pan of rice.

Hi All

Wow...it has been a while since I posted here. The other day, Lucy had to complete a timeline for her school including pictures. Of course she forgot to bring it home and then we had just one day to finish the project. It was so nice to grab pictures from the blog and get her assignment done. I told myself then that I needed to work harder keeping this up, but alas it didn't happen.

We got a new downstairs couch last night from IKEA. Poor Lucy was home sick today from school.

Lucy got her hair bobbed on Monday. She wanted it shorter, but I talked her into this length so we could still have pig tails.

We had Maggie's teacher conference last week at school. She is doing great. Her teacher loves how outgoing Maggie is, but she needs to work on not grabbing or interrupting.
