Afternoon at the Brown's

This is one of Daisy's favorite spots in the house. It is usually sunny and she can watch what is going on out the front windows. Also, Libby doesn't go up the wood stairs so she doesn't have to worry about being pestered.
Lucy was exhausted after a morning at the library. We attended story hour where we heard stories, danced, sang, played with the parachute and balls, and made safari hats and binoculars. Lucy looked really cute in her hat saying, "I see you!" as she looked through the binoculars (made from TP rolls). I will try to get a picture. We also got another Curious George book. Lucy loves it when I yell GEORGE!

Red Wagon Fever

Lucy got a red wagon this week. She really likes riding in it. She asked to go for a ride first thing this morning. She had a mild fever yesterday, but is feeling better today. She is acting like she is teething.

We had a prenatal visit and sonogram today. Everything is going well. I am growing on target with the 11/4 due date. The first picture is of the whole baby. The poor thing is folded in half with it's feet up by it's nose.



The next picture is of the baby's face. Two eyes, a nose, mouth. All there :)

This is a foot. Awww.
This is the baby's heart. A nice strong beat. 154BPM. The chambers are all there and the right size.
Finally, the special parts. It's a girl!!! We are very excited to announce that Lucy will have a little sister.

Summer Days

This is Lucy's first experience with finger paint last week. She likes to watch me make color dots, but it took some convincing to get her to put her fingers in the paint.
Lucy likes to help Daddy play video games.
