Lucy made a rocky entry into her soccer career today. We signed up for a class through the parks and rec. She was a little overwhelmed by the size of the gym and all the kids. When they went around the circle and said their names Lucy shouted, "NO!" She also refused to participate in the stretching. Even though she didn't have the best time today we will give it another try next week and see how it goes.

Lucy had her first day of preschool today. This picture was as we were getting ready to go out the door. I think she wanted me to hurry a little more. There are 5 kids in Lucy's class (4 girls and 1 boy). The teacher is a retired 2nd grade teacher. Lucy loved it and can't wait to go back on Thursday.
Lucy thought it would be a good idea to build a slide out of Mommy's work out mat. The only thing is that it is a non-skid mat. Not so good for sliding. So then Daddy had the good idea of sliding on the mat with the kick board. Still too much friction. Then Mommy had to put in her two cents and got out a sheet to cover the mat. Hmmm....maybe the slide a the park across the street might work better next time.

I am a sucker for toys on sale. Each girl got to pick out a new one. Then the only wanted to play with the others toy.
She looks sweet holding her bottle, but since Maggie has learned to crawl and pull up she is into everything. More often than not she is trying to eat dog food, stealing toys from Lucy and emptying the cabinets and baskets of toys onto the floor.
Today she sneaked a little people into the toilet right when I flushed it. Luckily Jon was able to get it out with the shop vac so we didn't have to call the plumber.
We went to parents night at Lucy's preschool last Wednesday. She got to play with the other children while Daddy, Mommy and Maggie learned more about the school year in another room. Lucy loved it and didn't want to go home. She asked to stay at preschool all night.
