Maggie doesn't play with toys!!!!!

Today I was going to try something different at nap time....big mistake. Usually, I give Maggie a pile if baby toys and put her on a blanket to play while I read Lucy two books and tuck her in. Maggie is starting to sit for short periods on her own so I put her in front of the toy below surrounded by pillows and blankets. Lucy saw this and made a running dive for the pillow. When I caught her she began screaming. Big tears rolling down her face...a tantrum. Thankfully I don't have to deal with these often, but this was a good one. After I got her to calm down I asked her what made her so upset. Her response, "Maggie doesn't play with toys!!!!!"

Lucy is getting more comfortable in front of the camera. Especially if it means drawing Mommy's attention from Maggie. Maggie loves to jump. Both in the Jumperoo and if you are holding her.

This is Maggie after her first ever bite of sweet potatoes. So far she has had peas, bananas, sweet potatoes and rice cereal. She loves them all. We can't sit at the table and eat without her asking for food.
