Nap time

I was checking e-mail and when I looked up, Lucy had tucked herself in.

Relax

I had a prenatal visit yesterday. All is going well and the doctor said the baby is, "growing nicely."
Lucy woke up at 6:30 this morning, earlier than I would like on a Saturday morning. In an attempt to get a few more minutes of sleep I put her in bed with us. She was hogging the bed so I didn't have room to lay down and was sitting up. She looked at me and said, "Relax." I think this is because I tell her to relax in swim class when we are working on back floats. I found it really funny to be told to relax by a one-year-old.

Ready! Lucy is always ready to go outside. She likes to take her little car, but it usually gets abandoned in the front yard when she makes a break for the park.

Happy Belated Mother's Day

Lucy takes her coloring very serious. She mostly colors noses and faces.
Ray and Linda came to visit over the weekend. They brought Lucy this wonderful chair which she loves.

We did it, baby!

Lucy took her baby through the whole potty process including washing her hands. Then, she said, "We did it, baby!" After that they went on a victory lap around the family room.

We had a successful day today. Two potties and a bm in the potty chair in the morning. We wore a diaper to have lunch with daddy at work and for nap time, and then two more potties after nap. We even wore panties to the park!

Panties!!

Lucy is wearing big girl panties for the first time this afternoon. I haven't posted for a few days because I have been reading about potty training in my spare time. Today when Lucy got up from her nap she sat on her potty and went. It was a very exciting moment! Yep...I'm a big girl.
