Tummy Symbol

Lucy asked me for pony barrettes today. After I told her we didn't have any, I showed her the barrettes we did have. She picked all these to go in her hair.

This morning Lucy and I worked on a Care Bears activity book. One of the pages had you match the tummy symbol to the bear. After completing the page Lucy lifted up her shirt and said, "I lost my tummy symbol." I asked her what it was so I could help her look for it. She thought for a while and then replied, "A moon!" Luckily I had a moon sticker in my stash. This made her so happy.

"See my tummy symbol. I'm Goodnight Bear."

New Do

Lucy got her hair cut today. I cut it back in December and it didn't turn out too well. It took until now to get it fixed.

Roll Over

Lucy playing doctor after we got news that one of our friends had a baby yesterday. When I told her about the baby, first she wanted to see pictures. When I told her we didn't have any she lifted up her shirt and said the baby was in her belly. Then she went and got a toy ketchup bottle and said she was listening to the baby's heartbeat. Obviously that wasn't very effective so she got out her doctor's kit.
Maggie rolled over for the first time today during tummy time. It was an accident and really surprised her. She was pushing up on her arms and fell over to the right and landed on her back.
