Earlier Jon was telling me how he needed an adapter, but they didn't have the one he wanted, so he had to get two adapters, but they were out of one, so he will have to go to another store to get the other adapter. Maggie interupted this story with her version, "One tractor, one tractor"

Merry Brown Christmas

Lucy didn't sing at her Christmas program on 12/10, but she sure did dance.

Since we will be travelling on Christmas, we opened presents at home today. The girls really wanted Pillow Pets and played with them for a bit before opening other presents.

Chuck E. Cheese

Maggie was so excited to be at Chuck E. Cheese. He came out twice while we were there. The first time he threw about 30 tickets at us and we had to scramble to get them. The second time Maggie gave him a high five.

Lucy was pretty happy too. Jon took a day of vacation and dropped Lucy off at preschool and then everyone picked her up on the way to Chuck E Cheese. Lucy squealed when she saw us all waiting for her.

Our order number was "2", Littlest Pet shop decorative Band Aid (no ouchie), juice box, braclet. This girl is all set!

Toddler Bed

Jon converted Maggie's crib into a toddler bed yesterday. She loves it!!! She was too excited and didn't go to sleep for nap yesterday, but slept all night last night. This picture is from nap time today. It was so sweet listening to her fall asleep reading "My World"

Picture Day Preview

Today was picture day at Lucy's preschool. We took a few practice shots. In this one she is singing, "I'm a happy Hugglewug"

Maggie wanted her picture taken too.

The kids were all so cute this morning in their dressy clothes. Lucy said that her tights were super hero tights and she ran around the livingroom really fast this morning.

Trick or Treat

On Halloween we went trick-or-treating at some of the neighbors. Now when we go outside Maggie wants to visit all the neighbors for more.








No, that is not halloween makeup on thier shirts. It is chocolate ice cream and lolly pop drippings of course!





Lucy loves playing with her little men. It is hilarious to hear her yell, "Don't take my men!" at Maggie.

The girls painted the pumpkins and then told me what face to put on them. Lucy picked happy and Maggie picked mad.

Des Moines Half Marathon

We all finished the Des Moines Half Marathon. GO TEAM BROWN!!!!!

I haven't forgotten!!!

I really haven't forgotten about posting pictures. It is just easy to get wrapped up in daily life and let some things slip through the cracks.

Maggie likes to help me put away groceries. She empties bags onto the counter for me.
